He had wanted this tattoo done for a long time. Something to memorialize both his parents and grandparents, especially his grandparents which raised him. He could’ve had Natasha do it, but it wasn’t her style of ink. And because of this thought, Yongguk found himself standing outside Needles and Chopsticks.
He had stood here so many times and then turned and walked away, working up the nerve to get this done, even seeing an old boyfriend, scared him. He didn’t know how things would go. Yongguk had pretty much disappeared after getting out of the service, sticking close to 71n3 Studio and his family, he worked on rebuilding the reputation he had before he’d been shipped off. So here he stood, eyeballing the door of the shop determined to go in but also wanting to walk away from the umpteenth time. He couldn’t keep doing this, either he had to get it done and face the music, or he could just forget the whole thing and live without his tattoo.
No, he wanted it done. He took a step forward, then another, finally letting his feet carry him through the shop’s front door. He looked around, looking for that familiar face and half afraid of being asked to leave. Wondering if he should’ve called ahead, appointments were everything and if he wasn’t here... he didn’t want it done... not yet.
