Why am I still the only person in the Jyoumichi tag? How can no one else see how deliciously chaotic this ship would be?

The thing about being in love with Jou Kido is that it’s always a slow burn. Feelings trickle into your heart and warm your cheeks as you realize your fondness for his idiosyncrasies. Maybe you tease him a little bit here, make him chuckle a little bit there, and get him to rub his face in exasperation every chance you get. Your heart knows what’s up before your brain does.

When you find out someone else is having the same experience around Jou, you expect the flash of jealousy to last longer than it does. But that other person is someone you know so well. And you know they deserve to feel things for everyone’s favorite (and only) Digimon doctor. Are those feelings a crush? Love? Lust? Who knows. But two people scheming to get under Jou’s skin is better than one. SO much better.

It’s like Christmas came early for Gomamon. He slaps his flipper on the floor in delight as you and your friend get Jou Kido to make expressions you’d never get out of him without this glorious teamwork. You come up with a nickname for Jou that he pretends to loathe, but you know that secretly he’ll allow the two of you to call him that, and only the two of you.

You playfully touch his hair, making him promise to never to cut it again. Your friend bumps hips with his in the kitchen as he tries (and fails) to cook. The fond sighs and eye rolls thrill you both, sending goosebumps down your arms and little pulses of excitement through your chest. You glance over at your friend to see them grinning. What if you could say something to turn those affectionate eye rolls into a lick of the lips? You’re positive your friend is on the same wavelength. It’s incredible, really.

Jou starts to expect both of you when he answers the door. The burn is slow, but he buys a couple extra pillows and stashes them in the closet.

Okay you’ve twisted my arm (literally just needed one person wanting to hear about it lmaoo)

Jyoumichi under cut, probably T rated.

The Jyoumichi hinges on the same thing my Jyouchi headcanons do, which is that Taichi is in love with both Sora and Yamato and all he wants to do is find a good way to move past that.

Jou (who lives in the Digital World) and Mimi (who visits Jou regularly) are already in a relationship that nobody actually knows about. They both notice Taichi is really sad and lonely after he himself moves to the Digital World for his job. Mimi approaches Taichi and invites him over to Jou’s and something something something Taichi finds out Jou is bisexual, and that makes him really happy because he doesn’t actually know any other bi guys. Something something something, the three of them are intimate. Taichi realizes that this is the kind of relationship he’s always wanted, and basically it becomes a “we live in the Digital World and make our own rules” kind of thing.

Taichi goes to dinner at Sora and Yamato’s apartment quite frequently and they notice he’s a lot happier recently, which is so important because they care about Taichi SO MUCH
