I have a handful of new followers, so this’ll hopefully help! I’m Zuzu and I’m here in the Digimon fandom for life. 30+, she/her, queer. This is exclusively a Digimon blog, but it’s not a side blog because I hate myself and decided like 10 years ago that having multiple accounts was better than having side blogs.

ANYWAY I’m a die hard fan of Jou Kido, Daisuke Motomiya, and 02 in general. My knowledge of Digimon is limited to Adventure universe media, Tamers, Cyber Sleuth duology, and Time Stranger. Feel free to send asks, DMs, whatever about anything Digimon though.

I ship things like you wouldn’t believe (I’m sure most of you believe). Top ships are Daikeru, Jyoumi, Daiken, Jyouchi, Daiyako, Daikenkeru, and Jyoumichi. But also like two dozen others. Talk to me about them. Talk to me about my fanfiction endeavors.

I’m obsessed with these characters finally being adults in canon. I’m even more obsessed with the concept of them all in their 30s. Jou Kido lives in the Digital World, this is canon (to me), and he loves cars.

I’m even more more obsessed with Iori Hida: Ace Attorney.

I’ve cosplayed like half the cast of Adventure/02. I collect random Digimon merch. I make gifsets! Lots of them! Constantly! Forever! I don’t have a tag for my gifsets and therefore can’t link anything! Also I love the English dub background music. Not gonna lie, I might be the biggest fan of the English dub background music.

I write fanfic in the most bizarre and complicated format you can imagine. I also roleplay, but currently only looking for Daikeru RP partners 👀 (or an adventure verse group— hit me up)

New Digimon Fanfic: Exploration

I published the first of four chapters of a new explicit digimon fanfic today! You can find it on AO3 here and FFN here.

Summary:

An AU story where Motomiya Daisuke, Anami Eimi, Ichijouji Ken, and Izumi Koushiro are undergraduate students in 2024. This four chapter explicit story follows their exploration of sexuality and relationships in a consensual, queer-friendly way.

Author's notes:

This story features college-age characters exploring their identities in a supportive/sex-friendly/consensual way. We'll see characters pushing themselves to see what they like, asexual characters exploring sex, casual relationships, casual relationships ending, casual relationships shifting to committed ones, monogamous relationships, and possibly poly and open relationships. The characters are purposefully pushing themselves and each other in the name of self-discovery, but they are doing so consensually. They are beginners, though; their advice isn't perfect. Also, while the story is sex positive, there are difficult aspects to being queer in our world, and to navigating relationships in general. Those do come up here.

Hi all!  So, this story was inspired by a dream I had of Daisuke and Eimi hooking up, which, if you're familiar with Eimi and my work, was...  Kind of weird for me.  I ended up fleshing out a story without meaning to simply by trying to figure out what could possibly bring those two together like that, and this is what I came up with!  It began expanding to contain Daiken, and suddenly it was June, and I thought...  Pride month celebration!!!!

I feel extremely unsure about sharing this work, because explicit content is outside of my wheelhouse, and because I'm lowkey terrified of accidentally blundering somehow when it comes to exploring queer themes (although I am queer myself).  So please be kind <3

OMG I wish I had one! They're not super common, especially these days, so I haven't read one since probably around the time tri was airing. If anyone has any Jyoumato fic recs, PLEASE send them my way!

I'm going to be so selfish and make this about me, but if you're interested in Jou & Yamato friendship at all, Chapter 8 of my fic "Somewhere Only We Know" can be read as a standalone fic related to them.
