This is my new obsession.
I loved so much about this book. I really enjoyed that this was set in our world, just with supernatural/mythical beings. This book follows Fortuna as she makes a deal with a powerful fae, who will help her find her missing brother. And so she is whisked away to the Unseelie Court in hopes of trying to get her brother back.
The characters were also amazing. I loved Fortuna, I think she's a very well-written female protagonist. The characters were distinct and completely fleshed out which was great. I had never read a book about a Nightmare before, so that was an original and unique aspect to the story that I really enjoyed.
I also just finished the second book and that was also really good (I'll do a separate post for the second book.)
If you're looking for a fun, fast-paced fae story, then I highly recommend this! 🖤
