It depends-- He likes being asked because it’s flattering, obviously, and it shows him that the person wants him. But if the person is being really obvious but won’t do it themselves, he’ll take the initiative and ask them first. He likes it when people get flustered because of him and the expressions that come with asking people out on a date tend to get to him.
