Weekly Wrap Up - 28 February 2014
Wow what a week it has been for team AUTO MODELISTA! Our FIRST week has started with a BANG with our first official launch and AM’s first time outing together at the one and only, 100mm!
It’s been a week of “firsts” for our AM boys, first official launch, launched our first (and only) Facebook Page, first outing together (we went to yumcha, yummy in my tummy) and most importantly, we got our new AM Bin!! Yes, that’s right, an Auto Modelista bin… don’t be jealous!
Launching our business at 100mm was not only a huge success for us but it was also a great opportunity for us to show off some of our products. With our Sales Specialists on the ground, we were able to introduce our FORGE range, stocking everything from silicone hoses to diverter valves, MANIC tunes for BMW, Mercedes and Mini’s, P3 gauges and our Dash Cam with dual front camera’s which installs on top of your rear view mirror. So now, you can capture the moments when silly drivers do silly things on the roads!!

It was not all smooth sailing for team AM who were up until wee hours of Saturday morning, still prepping our cars and having to be at the show by 6am. Having the whole AM team there to set up and mingle with the crowd, we were able to show the Auto Community what we are capable of! It was safe to say, that 5pm didn’t come quick enough as the boys were all exhausted by the end of the day (some may say it was old age kicking in, some might not agree).
Still buzzing (and exhausted) from the day before, the boys ventured out to Yumcha to have their first meal together to discuss the pro’s and con’s of the day before. We know there were definitely some teething problems, but all agreed that we had a successful day and everyone pulled their weight (great work guys!)
AM’s first week also marked the beginning of a new Partnership with Ark Designs, specialising in exhaust systems for FT-86, Mk5 & Mk6. It was a huge win for AM as we aim to rule the world (ok, not really the world but in auto parts).
To finish off the week, we were able contact all our customers with their enquiries, contact our suppliers for more stock and finally getting some rest!
We would like to congratulate the winners of the Trim Removal kits, hope they come in handy for you one day (if not, just call us). We’d also like to thank 100mm for allowing us the opportunity to participate as Vendors at the show, thank all those involved with the set ups, the cars and the photography for the day and lastly, thanks to all our family and friends who had supported us throughout our journey so far and their continual support here on after.
That’s all from us this week.
Stay Tuned!
