I can't get over Evitative by Vichan
It's a masterpiece and deserves the world.
That said about the ratings, I'd be worried if we saw them bang next episode. If they find happiness before the end of the show they are way more likely to die by the end of the show. I'm torn between wanting them to bang now and them having a happy ending. (I know, I know, it's Game of Thrones and there are no happy endings.)

Reminder: if it goes canon anytime before the end, Castiel will die permanently because that is the nature of the show.
Exactly. I’d much rather it remain what it seems to be at this point, an endgame narrative, than give us something that seems like it’s been endgame for years only to happen before endgame, because then we would have the inevitable ensuing drama of them being separated for *reasons*, more pain because that’s how the show works, they can’t just have nice things, that’s just not how Supernatural is written, and yep potential death for Castiel.
I’m really not up for the “give it to me now” impatience that I see around sometimes, I’d much rather it remain what it seems to be, an amazingly well told endgame story.
Happening now only to end in heartbreak and death?
