Went to Kalamazoo Airsoft for the first time. Was nice. Embarrassing in that I forgot to check if my battery was charged but the people there are the shit and helped me out. The field at K-zoo is decidedly one sided for most event types, though, it feels (HQ > Bus Station). HQ allows the team to flow out into the outside much more easily and trap the other team in the quarter near Bus Station’s spawn.

Getting to know the AO was good and I’ll be glad to go again. It works out too because it’s 1.5 hours away and then an 1 to my parent’s and 1.5 hours back home which splits up the drive and packs in a pretty active weekend day.

Also my height worked out pretty well. I got some good kills putting my grippod out on top of the barrel barracades and firing. Not too accurate but minimal personal exposure. Also got a great kill on a guy laying prone guarding a critical choke point by going over the wood barricade that was set up :D.

Running mid-caps at a de facto speedsofting facility was interesting. I wore sweat pants which actually worked great for dumping mags, and loved the Mayflower Chest Rig I got with my used Combat Machine. 

Sweaty and out of shape I was, but a good start to returning to this hobby.

Title: Serving Fierce. In 2014 I had the pleasure of making images with a lot of RuPaul's queens during Pride Month. Manila Luzon is getting a shout out for serving face and more importantly facial expressions. From here wide open eyes with lashes for days to the way her mouth freezes within every frame. Her signature white stripe and funky costumes also provide with the pops of colors needed to blow her off from any background. Outtake from Kalamazoo Pride 2014 / Kalamazoo, Michigan.
