Today, I played a game called "K.O.L.M." It's a Metroid-style exploration platforming game in which you take control of a broken robot seeking to please "Mother" by finding your scattered parts and fixing yourself. Although this game is short and simplistic for a Metroidvania game, it does a really good job of creating a melancholy atmosphere, due to the dark environment and excellent music by Ockeroid. Personally, the music is my favorite part of the game. If you like the soundtrack, it is freely available under the flash application on the Newgrounds link, or you can also check out the rest of Ockeroid's work on his main audio page.
