she knew the album would be emotional but this was a little different. the two songs would mirror each other and it was time to really tackle it. she had the base of the songs down but the lyrics had called to her first.
even the title was a easy pick. honestly, the lyrics would come easy. they were playing around in her head for a while and now it was time to really get it them out of her head and into the song.

a clear show of her life ( to her at least. ) she paused at this line, already having written down a few. where would they take her? where would life take her? if the other song was about her life in school, then this was about starting her path to become an idol, the second time around. if she was being honest with herself, it was scary.
it was even worse when they didn't take off.
it was scary when she looked at the other's who were doing better. some younger than her or the same age but in a fresh group. it felt like she was only going at a slow pace. that lead into the chorus, someday she'd get over this feeling. it would be okay and they would survive.
sometimes she had to breathe and relax. as long as she kept walking, things would get better. ( and they did for a while but she wouldn't think about that right now. ) and those thought alone made it easy for kami put something down. when would she every expose herself like this again? in all honesty, this wasn't the music she wanted to make. performing was her escape and this song was her reality.

the part on her mind had been the rap, she wrote thinking about having a rapper feature on it so the lyrics would have a slightly different tone.
still, the words came from her.
she hummed the words as she thought about what to right now. how it would sound and how she would have to instructor whoever would do this part. there was a picture to be painted and it had to come through.

it was funny what she had down on the paper once she stop. some things needed to be changed or tweaked but it captured how she felt about life at that point. a sort of need. a want for things to be different. they wouldn't change though and she find a way to navigate around it. it was a just a hard thing to do right then. this small part would have tad bit more emotion, a little more sure. at some point she'd be able to really reach that point in her life. that was what the song was about after all.
it was at the end that she paused to change the chorus. it was a good already and she had been prepared to write it down just to have the full sheet but reading it over, a small change was made here and there. it wasn't that big of a deal, the same emotion would come through. no one would notice it, not one but her. it was just another reminder that as much as she tried to deny it, this album was for her too.
"ah, i'm finished!" a small cheer for herself. as happy as she was with the process for this album, kami was also ready to close the chapter. another reason why there wouldn't be long promotions for it. it was another statement about what had happened and one and she wouldn't want to make again.
