And so this fella finally got a proper name and design lol

The design and colors are pretty basic, but that's what I was aiming for. I have a bit of backstory and a family tree in mind for him as well some more specific ideas for his clan but that will take some time to compile and make coherent in any way.

Also, why Kotek for a nickname? Well it was given to him by a human that he met at some point. That human thought that Ka'thaek sounds very much like the polish word kotek, which means kitty in English and just preceded to call him that. For the most part, Ka'thaek isn't very fond of that nickname lol

The only thing left for me to do is to think of his clothes and armor. The one form the meme is just a random attempt _(:з)∠)_

Oh and also that human that started calling him Kotek will be made into an actual character at some point as well... hi hi hi

Learning to draw Yautja for me means drawing their faces once and then completely redrawing them again.

This happened with Ka'thaek. His first face on the left looked too goofy so I redrew it to the one on the right and it stayed as such.

And now I had the same case with another OC I'm in the process of making.

The first one on the left looked real flat and did not really translate into a young Yautja vibe I was going for. Now her face looks almost fluffy which I kind of like. And it fits my plans to give her some fur for clothes as well.

I'm still learning and trying to get a better grasp on their face structure but it all comes with practice as all things do.

So the moral of the story is...

When in doubt! Draw it the fuck again basically lol
