I do still like a lot of this fic. My favourite chapter prose-wise is probably day 5, though that's probably mostly because that's the chapter most packed with stuff (between the whole jaguar attack thing and June doing the Analysis Hub). However, looking back on the fic, I do have a lot of criticisms? Mainly, I wish I had made the fic longer, maybe stretch it out to a few more days of Henry being trapped. (which is, ironically, a criticism I have with the original game)
I wish I had done more with Henry going to the Web World, and I feel like I built up the Kinito & Pineda Theatre as this big thing when it barely meant anything outside of some story beats. If I were to go back and rewrite this to make Henry be in the digital world longer, I would have definitely included more scenes of him and Kinito being in the theatre.
I feel like a lot of the June segments were also filled with weird excuses as to why she hadn't found the final file yet, and some of them kind of felt like filler while Henry did his own thing in "Henry's World". I imagine that's why I made the fic so short, but I feel like I could have done more with her.
However, that should not deter you from enjoying this fic if you were liking it up to this point. If you found it good even if I found a lot of flaws in it, that's great! I appreciate every single one of my readers, and I'm glad you stuck around to see this fic end!
Also, as a final thing: This is not the final thing I'm writing for this AU. I have a lot of general fics I plan on writing for the AU, and a couple of "bad ending" fics I'd like to write at some point.
