Sketches of Kajout, Kabossa and Tani, and Kajout looking annoyed because Kabossa is teaching Tani it’s ok for her to perch on him.  Kajout doesn’t want her to get used to that since the bigger she gets the heavier she’ll be.

Sketch practice of Mititango’s head and more practice on what I’m trying to do with Kabossa.  Also slight back of Kajout’s head.

Time to upload some sketches.

Kabossa and Kajout headshot practice.  Kajout is more sleek because of the type of Kasaeda she is.  I’m thinking she has aquatic Kasaeda in her blood line.  Still working on making Kabossa look like an old man and the thickness of his muzzle, etc.

I uploaded that front shot of him before but now with added Kajout not approving of him wanting to keep an animal they just passed by.

And more Rock Chick practice who now has a name.  Kabossa seems to enjoy human names and wanted to name her Britany.  Kajout didn’t approve.  They settled on Tani though.

More Trevini, Labrum, Kabune, Seika and Gwen.  But now also with Perrie and the Walking Lanturn.  Labrum like Kobossa loves animals so the two of them would get along.  Walking Lanturns are pretty huffy but of course Labrum would make friends with them.

More of old man Kabossa.

I halfway like to think nicknames among Kasaeda are only with super close friends.  Like you don’t tell someone to call you by a nickname, it just happens.  I honestly never thought of having anyone call me Kat until one of my teachers did it.  I also usually prefer my full name but people once they know me better do end up going with Kat and I don’t mind it.

So you might hear his friends call him Kabo, Ka, Bossa, etc.  He ends up calling Kajout Kaj (said Kay) but seldom since she doesn’t seem to like nicknames.  Not sure what nickname she ends up going with for him but she says his nickname very rarely and it’s probably only if she’s super annoyed with him or if she’s worried.  Either way when he hears her say it he usually jumps to attention compared to someone else saying it.

I also like to think when he isn’t training he’s a charmer.  Half way on accident because he sometimes tries to charm Kajout into letting him keep every animal he finds and just gets her glare.  He laughs if off because he just likes getting a rise out of her.
