There is always that one person in a ship that needs to be the center of the fic.
Like if it’s hurt/comfort they need to be the one getting hurt and comforted. The whump is about them.
They can do no wrong but also if they do something bad I Stand With My Cancelled Wife.
Like i don’t know how to explain it. I could read any ship for them as long as they’re the focus of the fic.
Like a fics premise would be 1000x more appealing if only the one being chased was that character, you know?
