reupload bc I realized a few hours after posting that I misspelled #mythica 😥😭 but the whole point of these drawings for me is not erasing, not throwing away, not discarding, but always trying to find a solution. are my #symmetrical #drawings perfect? nope. anyway, as I have previously said about my style: it's... symmetrical. 😅 I have been doing these for ages, mostly when I'm stressed/anxious/bored/waiting for something... what really makes it mine and what I like about it/am actually proud of by now: how intricate the "designs" can sometimes get 😅 and how imperfect it is, but it can still look good 😊👍

it's never perfect. I often make mistakes, but I never erase (can't erase ink 🤣) and almost never restart. I just try to cover up or change designs 😊

I use the awesome pelikan inky pens but have recently found some coloured pens with the same nib (pn in microns) from lyra: graduate fineliners, so I have started to use more colours 🤩

aaanyway: I loveloveLOVE The Kitten Witch & The Bad Vibes, the art is adorable, the messages are awesome... and generally the helpfulness of the whole page/blog is just great! 💜

#kittenwitchandthebadvibes challenge 😅 my style is.. well, I do draw #symmetrical stuff. I can draw in many styles, but what makes it MINE, is this not all too perfect #symmetry (and of course some patterns do often reappear) I try to get as precise as possible with it, but it never succeeds. so I have incorporated this into my “style”: I never erase (wouldn’t really be possible with ink anyway 😅), or retry - I always sorta cover up (like here: I first tried a pattern on her dress.. didn’t like it, so black it became) and continue… what I like about my art: the imperfection and the fact that it sorta calms me.
