More tidbits on Mama Apep to Dendro hatchling Furina!MC please? I just want to see the two cuddling up to and healing each other! Oh! Also jealous Neuvillette and Melusines and rest of Fontaine ‘cause Mama Apep isn’t going to let HER hatchling go back to Fontaine. Nuh-huh, no sirree! Not on her watch!
PS. How would Nahida react to this? Call the other Archons? Would Zhongli try to steal and/or co-parent this tiny, NEW hatchling?
Well, to start off... I don't think Fontaine will noticed what the hell was happening for a LONG while. Maybe until Neuvillette actually goes to see Apep-
But Nahida? The Dendro Archon sensed Furina!MC on her lands and was trying to find her... only to come to Apep's domain, and see that she was too late.
Its only because a now Dendro Dragon Hatchling Furina!MC warbling out a friendly greeting, and wandering over to her does Apep not attack the Dendro Archon on sight.
She's definitely not pleased when more usurpers show up, but even she could at least respect that the Archons respected one another... It was better than how she was currently feeling about her fellow Sovereign-
Besides that, they would all come to learn a very surprising fact about the small hatchling. She wasn't just a Dendro Dragon hatchling, she also had elements of a Hydro Dragon hatchling.
That was clear when she blew bubbles at Venti playfully along with tripping him with some roots-
This was most likely a remnant of her originally acting as the Hydro Archon.
With that, the Archons and Apep come to agreement. This information would not leave Apep's domain. Furina!MC would remain here, in Apep's care, with Nahida coming to visit from time to time
The other Archons still come to visit, mostly Zhongli cause he had the most free time.
Apep did threaten to eat him if he tried snatching HER hatchling away.
Look, despite how this came to be, Apep was possessive. This was the first true hatchling since the Sovereigns all lost their Authority! She wouldn't let anyone, much let that disgrace of a Sovereign. (his first incarnation must be rolling in the grave-)
And adding to that... the hatchling is helping keeping her head clear... probably the clearest it has been in years-
All it takes is a excited chirp from the hatchling, and the little one snuggling against the Dendro Sovereign for her head to go silent, to let her think properly.
