After everything that happened I just want to drop a positive kacxa post and let my fellow kacxa shippers know that this ship was always beautiful and valid.

Still shocked at how Keith instantly recognized her. Soulmates culture I guess.
The flashbacks! Yes, I know Keith told the team that she betrayed him and Hunk while they were in the weblum’s stomach, but I love the fact that he remembered the positive moments (when he saved her and when they both were working as a team) and that those are the flashbacks that were shown to us.
Acxa paying her debt and saving his life for the first time.
Later, Acxa finally having the perfect chance to kill him but...
“I can’t do this. I quit”
Acxa coming back to save the voltron team (let's be honest, she owned this episode) and the team learning she was helping them. I love that they focused on Keith in that scene. Of course, they had a special bond.
Allura: Coran’s trying to rescue us, and he’s got help *looks at Keith* Acxa.
Keith: what?! *camera zooms into his face*
Me: *sips cup* interesting.
“Coran, where’s Acxa” Yes, worried about his warrior buddy.
“Acxa saved our skin, I’m not gonna leave her behind” Admirable man, always willing to help and save the people he appreciates and cares about.
Acxa facing Zethrid and Ezor after three deca-phoebes:
Zethrid: Acxa, what are you doing here?
Ezor: I sould have known you’ll show up once we got the paladins. She’s always been sweet on that one with the flippity hair.
Keith: *shows up*
Ezor: Look Acxa, it’s your favorite paladin.
Zethrid: So do you guys actually know each other?
Ezor: Yeah, don’t you remember how she never wanted to kill him?
Zethrid: I guess it is true love
Omg, all this teasing, what was the reason?😭
The space lesbians always knew something was up. Imagine how much they teased her off screen.
And this was a couple vs couple fight. You can’t change my mind.
Don't forget the shot where they held hands while they were on their way to the black lion. I know it wasn't a big deal but it still made me have a squee.
Oh, this iconic line:
Acxa: I had to find my own path, and it led me to you *looks at keith*
Keith: thank you... for saving us.
I find interesting that Keith said “thank you”, made a pause and then proceeded to say “for saving us”. I feel that with the face he made after hearing what she said and that pause, he expressed that not only he was grateful that she saved them, but also surprised that he inspired her to change.
And then they give each other soft smiles and looks.
The graveyard scene! I convinced myself that the purpose of seeing Acxa showing up there was to show they were allies and the reason they set her up in that scene with Keith was because he was the only paladin she bonded with. But after finding out about what we already know, that scene might have meant something else.
Veronica: How did you meet the paladins?
Acxa: I met Keith when I was stuck in the third stomach of a weblum.
Yep, the only paladin she bonded with.
This. Scene.
Zethrid to Acxa, while pointing her gun at Keith: Now you'll feel what I felt.
Kacxa shippers: *insert surprised pikachu meme*
Bonus #1: the parallel with Krolia and Keith. Two galra ladies having to see someone they care about as a hostage.
Despite everything, they still had a gorgeous ending. Acxa found a leader she is happy with. She joined the BoM and they're working together helping other people in the universe (with Zethrid and Ezor). You know what that means? #ZezorAndKacxaSolidarity. Canon ships working together 😤
Bonus #2: Keith and Acxa working together in the BoM paralleling Hunk and Shay working together as chefs.

So my thoughts are, their interactions were all interesting and the relationship itself had a great potential. A really good ship. Imagine if they were given the rest of development they deserved and everything else we weren’t able to see. Even better! But still a good ship. A perfect one. They are so similar, but not because they’re similar it would have been boring, quite the opposite, it would have been so interesting for them to find a partner that feels the same way and has gone through similar things as the other. They would understand each other and get along so well. And although we didn't get to see it explicitly, nothing stops us from thinking they did end up together. Their ending says it all.
So yes! kacxa is canon. And let’s keep giving this ship the love it deserves.
I hope Keith and Acxa are somewhere in space giving each other the company they needed, cuddling after a long day of work, stroking each other's hair, kissing each other's forehead and having cute double dates with Zethrid and Ezor.
