                                 lets be one tonight || a starter for @kadcn

                       ╰ ★ ‘ k a d e n - !!’  the pair of arms the belonged to the pink hair woman, managed to snake their way around the shoulder of the kitsune as she leaned into his back before surprising the other with a soft kiss upon the right of his cheek. perhaps a bold move on her own - or NOT ?       ‘ - i found you~’       a soft tease of words left her lips that hovered right along the warmth of his skin, before she planted yet another soft and gentle kiss upon his cheek. ‘ i’ve missed you so !’ which, was true. working all day - and not having a chance to actually play with kaden was a bit of a drag down on her day. she always enjoyed the company of the other - and was thrilled she was able to catch up with him on her break time. 

      ‘ did you miss me ??’

Amber eyes brightened at the sight of the elder kitsune, a gasp escaped the young kit as her pale tail flicked in excitement. It swiftly began to wag ferociously, her ears drew back and soon her arms threw around his hipline the moment he was near enough to pounce upon. 

“Daddy! Daddy, you’re here! You came to see me! Did you bring me something shiny? Or soft!? I’ve been sooooo good! I swear it!” the seven-year-old fox kit exclaimed; her small fingers digging into the fabric of his shirt. The vibrant smile danced across her features, as a fit of giggles escaped her. She missed him terribly; she hated whenever he had to leave her side. She loved him so much; it truly hurt having to part from him. 

“Can we play? Oh, maybe we can take a nice nap and then play? Or, or maybe we can go catch something in the river? Or swim? There are so many things we can do today father~ I want to monopo...” She pauses trying to think of the word she needed. “Monopolize your time! Yes, that’s it! I want to monopolize your time daddy~” She exclaims rocking her feet back and forth, her bubbly energy just bursting before him.

he’d been told to be kind to the hoshidans, and already had been gently scolded by xander for the way his words still slipped in their presence. hatred is a poisonous venom, after all, and it's a drink that has left a lingering, bitter taste on laslow’s tongue. while the adjustments to their alliance may have been initially AWKWARD, laslow is determined to overcome it-- though, perhaps even more than that, he’s eager to satiate his curiosity.

❛  though, i won’t lie . . .  the rumours are particularly about your fur.  is it as soft as i hear ?  you’ll indulge a poor mercenary’s CURIOSITY,  won’t you  ?  ❜

A soft blush crept onto Kamui’s cheeks, and she couldn’t fight the giggle that softly resonated from her chest. With her armor on, this would have undoubtedly been uncomfortable for both parties, but the gauzy, thin material of her off-white nightgown made it easy for Kaden to hear the subtly INCREASING beat of her heart. 

“I love you, too,” she laughed, lazily weaving her fingers through his hair, twirling strands absentmindedly around meandering digits.
