Colleges really do take into consideration those “special circumstances” things I mean like if there’s a reason why your grades are lower then they have to acknowledge it

ik but idk if they'll see it as legit reasons? i mean i could just bs the essay to make me sounder better but idk like my gpa is higher than their average accepted students just lower than the kids who have gotten accepted from my high school before so im just worried because they probably expect a lot from my school like everyone has pretty good grades or they're super talented and shit and compared to them i feel pretty basic
