WHAT IS HAPPENING IN SUDAN?
The war between Sudan's military and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) paramilitary continues to cause a devastating wave of violence leading to a severe humanitarian crisis:
-21.3 million people facing emergency level of hunger (Famine in El-Fasher and Kadugli)
-More than 9.5 million people displaced internally
-200 Health facilities and personnel attacked
-A surge in gender-based violence
-Disease outbreak (including cholera, dengue fever and malaria.)

I aimed at finding meaningful grassroots initiatives that directly support the people of Sudan. Aid from major organizations may be abundantly available, but not enough reaches people in need. With supporting these mutual aid groups on Sudanese ground, direct action is received faster to help Sudanese people.
