I feel like that opens so many questions too, though. Like why would Wattz and hazel be confused over how she lost when they know about silver eyes and should know they only really work on grimm. It would be so contrived if they had just never even seen/wondered what was up with her arm. And even then the arm she used to absorbs the powers isnt even the same one that got scorched. I hate this show

Oh yeah, FULL AGREE. No explanation I give will ever make total sense and I doubt the writers will want to explain it and potentially admit they fucked up with this.

Maybe the reason why they’re confused is because of that? Maybe they assumed Cinder wouldn’t be affected once she got the full soul and maybe they didn’t know about her becoming part Grimm. Idk, the scene makes it sound more like they were just confused how Cinder, who’s supposed to be ruthless and great at fighting and had literal magic powers on her side lost to a sixteen year old screaming.

Idk why I’m trying to cover their asses for them but honestly I prefer my explanation for the dumbassery that is Cinder Fall instead of whatever shill the writers will throw at me.
