So apparently you can kill the Kaernk. Throw boxes at it!!

Also apparently the monsters just disappear when they kill you. Figured this out after hiding in a corner while holding a chair and moving in such a way that I accidentally smacked a chain, alerting a grunt to kill me.

So, why does Alexander have Kaernk in the watery locations of his castle in the first place?

Did he bring along them from the place where he originally came from or what?
