a quilt i was hesitant to post 😅 i made the top over a year ago and i just feel it isn't reflective of my current skill level. i definitely learned a lot of things with this one. but i really like the final look of it so 🫡

bag i made for my sewing supplies. first time experimenting with leather! i got a bunch of high quality scraps for around $10 a bag a few months ago but ive been too intimidated to use it until now. i am super proud with how it came out! made using this pattern
my new mission is finding secondhand kaffe fasset books. the natural home for these books is at a $5/bag church sale or found in the back of a quilt shop gathering dust. (not, ahem, $30 at a nyc used bookstore, come ON.)

this book in particular, "glorious knits", from my local library, has a few color patterns i plan to use for a future design project i have in mind. but mostly his books are full of color inspiration and just enormously fun to leaf through.
Good grief! I never finished this quilt. These blocks are five years old and sitting around in my stash. I need to dig them out and make something.
Oooh yeah , that's better. More than double the space, and I managed to get the shelf put up over the radiator. Even though the wall falls apart when you drill it. May need a step to reach the very top !!!! Its kaffe fasset design wall fabric, I had a voucher for xmas so splurged it on two meters. Today was a good day. Listening to blondie ,parallel lines.
