24. "This present is way better than the one I got for you."
Kageyama shifted shyly on his seat on the couch, toes curling and wiggling inside his shoes. The two small boxes inside the pockets of his slacks felt terribly heavy, making him aware of their presence.
"What did you say, Tobio-chan?" Oikawa asked and Kageyama couldn't help but stare at him, his eyes feasting on how well that navy blue suit wrapped around his beautiful, narrow waist.
He didn't know why did Oikawa decide to make them dress up so formally for Christmas if it was only the three of them at home, but there they were, wearing suits and ties and- dammit, Iwaizumi looked so hot in that vest. Kageyama gulped.
"I said... These presents are way better than the ones I got for you both," he mumbled sheepishly, his eyes shifting down to look at a brand new pair of volleyball shoes, and then at another box with a black jacket on it.
"I... I'll get better ones, so-
"What?! What do you mean better ones?" Oikawa squeaked, making Kageyama lift his head quickly to look at him. "Show us already!"
"No! I really-
"C'mon, Tobio," Iwaizumi whined. "We want to see the ones you got!"
Kageyama chewed on his lower lip. His presents for them weren't as bad... but now that he thought about it, they were kinda cheesy. He made a face and shook his head.
"I- I lost them," he lied, and his hands moved down to cover his pockets. "I really lost them..."
They looked at him, and then at each other, and Kageyama widened his eyes when he saw them sharing a knowing look, before looking back at him again. They had seen through him!
He tried to get up from the couch, but Oikawa and Iwaizumi were suddenly grabbing his wrists and pinning them against his own chest, pressing Kageyama against the back of the couch.
"W-Wait! I really d-don't have th-thehehehem! No!" Kageyama shrieked when he felt nimble fingers trying to sneak inside his pockets. The movements were light, accidentally poking and prodding against his hips, and he couldn't help but break into bright giggles.
"Wahahahait! It t-tihihihickles!" He giggled out, twisting his hips away from their fingers.
"Oh? Then show us, Tobio! It cannot be that bad!" Oikawa said as his fingers, as well as Iwaizumi's, kept trying to get into Kageyama's pockets, but he was squirming too much.
"Nohoho!" Kageyama said, shaking his head and trying to free his wrists. "Thehehey're bahahahad!"
"Hold still!" Iwaizumi said over Kageyama's giggling and he pressed his thumb against the wiggly hip, making Kageyama shriek.
"Nohoho, plehehehease!" Kageyama begged, now trying to stay still to prevent Iwaizumi's thumb to dig into his hip. "O-Oikawa-san, Iwa-Iwaizumi-san! Pl-Plehease!"
Kageyama shivered seeing Oikawa's lips turning into a naughty smirk. "Tobio, you're being silly right now! You're making us way more curious! Just give it out!" He explained, also pressing his thumb against Kageyama's other hip.
Kageyama shrieked again, his hips bucking up slightly. Oh no, were they really going to tickle him there?! He gulped, looking at their eyes intently, silently begging for them to not do it, but they were determined to get their presents and Kageyama was a stubborn one, so he really wanted to kick himself mentally when he said:
"I- I really don't ha-have them!"
He could barely take a breath before his boyfriends were rubbing deep circles against his hip bones, sending him to hysterics right away.
"Give the presents, Tobio!" Iwaizumi said, chuckling as he looked at Kageyama squirming and trying to get up.
"We won't stop until you give them to us!" Oikawa promised, doing that pinching nibble against Kageyama's hip that always made him throw his head back and snort.
"PLEHEHEASE! Stahahahap! Not there! Nahahahat thehehere!" He laughed out, trying to lift his knees to protect his hips.
"You know how to make us stop," Iwaizumi purred and Kageyama shook his head.
They'd eventually grow tired of tickling him, right? He could stand it, right? Right?
Their hands were off him right away, giving him space to catch his breath as they both extended their hands to him, palms up, ready to receive their presents.
Kageyama breathed heavily, cleaning his tears with the back of his hand before standing on his feet with shaky legs. He looked at them, blushing as they stared at him expectantly.
He finally sneaked his hand inside his pockets and put out two little jewelry boxes. He flushed brightly when their features turned in surprise as he placed the boxes on their hands.
They opened them right away and Kageyama somehow found something interesting on his shoes as he stared down at them.
"Tobio-chan," Oikawa said softly.
Inside the boxes was a necklace. A thin chain with a tiny charm hanging from it. This charm consisted on three flat, golden rings, all entwined together, and on each ring, one of their names engraved: Tooru, Hajime, Tobio.
It was the same style for the three of them. Kageyama had taken out his own from under his dress shirt. "I- I thought a necklace would be better than a ring... but... if you don't want to use them, I understand, I can-
"Merry Christmas, Tobio!" They said happily and before Kageyama could look up at them, they were tackling him back against the couch, peppering his face with kisses, nibbles and even raspberries, making him giggle as his heart flutter at hearing his words:
"I love you, Tobio-chan!"
"These are so pretty, Tobio. Thank you so much!"
"Thank you, thank you, Tobio-chan! This is the best present ever!"
"I love you, Tobio. You're so silly, why were you hiding these?!"
This was probably one of the best Christmas ever and Kageyama hoped, deep in his heart, that he could spend many more of these sweet moments with these sweet boyfriends of his.

I think IwaOi were together before Kageyama tagged along... Kageyama had a massive crush on both his senpai!
He probably just woke up one morning and was like "I'm gonna tell them" and he calls Iwaizumi all like "I need to see you both as soon as possible, is coffee alright?"
And like the three of them arrive at the same time at the coffee shop and Oikawa is about to tease him about his sudden call, but Kageyama is like "I think I like you both... Like... In a romantic way..."
And IwaOi are just like 😳 and Kageyama is like 😐
Iwaizumi is the first one to react and he's like "we... We should get inside and... Talk about this..."
IwaOi don't feel something in particular for the kid, especially since they've only seen Kageyama's bad side!
BUT since they know how hard it is to actually confess to the person you like and Kageyama confessed to the both of them, they give him a chance
And they should know something will eventually happen when their hearts do a little flip at seeing Kageyama's face beaming
They go on many dates so Kageyama can work his way through their hearts and it's honestly not hard
IwaOi slowly start to know his soft side: his shy smiles and lovely laugh and the way his cheeks turn bright red when they compliment what he's wearing or how pretty his skin looks!
They also start to see little details like how long and beautiful his fingers are and how stylized his neck is and how silk his hair looks and how expressive his eyes are!
IwaOi have to talk it out after their sixth date - Kageyama has been so patient and he always looks forward to their dates and he always insists on paying for whatever they're having
And IwaOi feel like they both are actually falling for him and it's so weird because they still love each other so much, bur their hearts feel suddenly a little bigger, opening a space for Kageyama to fit in
They become an official couple after their eighth date and Kageyama tears up a little and IwaOi immediately engulf him in their arms - Kageyama is in heaven
After that, many things happened but this answer is getting long so I'm jumping right into the fluff:
Oikawa is a cuddler when sleeping, even when it's hella hot and Iwaizumi... Well, he likes cuddling, but not when it's fucking hot
But oh surprise, Kageyama is also a sleeping cuddler! He now sleeps in the middle between Oikawa and Iwaizumi and when Iwaizumi wakes up in the morning, he always finds OiKage cuddling as if their lives depended on it!
Like I say before, IwaKage bully Oikawa so much... And by bullying I mean they tickle him so much
Like Iwaizumi probably is all like "look, Tobio, I'll show you Oikawa's weakest spots... It's his stomach," and he just claws at Tooru's tum and invites Kags to do the same
BUT IwaOi also tickle Kageyama so much because he has THE. CUTEST. LAUGHTER. EVER. It's just so damn bubbly and child-like and just dkdkkf amazing
And Kageyama is so blushy!
Also, Iwaizumi and Kags share tickle spot (the hips) so, OF COURSE, Oikawa needs to find out who's the most ticklish there!
In other words, IwaKage get distroyed with hip tickling until they're shaking with silent laughter (uufff)
Kageyama is shy to ask for cuddling, but his nose scrunches up a little and his lower lip puckers in a little pour when he wants cuddles (he doesn't know though)

Cue them having the talk again with Tobio when they see him being all sad again, and Oikawa literally huffs out in desperation and just shoves his hands underneath his arms and no one knows what's going on cause 1) Oikawa just did that out of the blue, 2) Iwaizumi really wants to hit him for doing that and 3) Kageyama is fluffing hysterical and desperately trying to get away
CUE IWAOI FINALLY FINDING A WAY TO MAKE KAGEYAMA STOP HATING ON HIMSELF CAUSE WHENEVER HE'S ALL "Oh, but you two just work and I shouldn't be here" - BOOM, Kageyama gets tickled into oblivion that the poor boy definitely safe words a few times cause they overdue it ✌🏻

Kageyama found out Iwaizumi was ticklish because he saw Oikawa wrecking his hips!

I haven't been writing (well, I haven't been finishing) but the last thing I posted was a KageIwaOi fic, Totally Worth It.
I think I've said before that Kageyama is my second favourite hq character to ship, but I really only write him with IwaOi (although I totally read him with others. I just... don't write him with others).
