I love the lore behind limebloods, despite how little it is. Like how the were supposedly easily capable of calming raging high bloods and possibly had some special ability or power that got the whole caste extinct. Then i look at my limeblood, Kahlin. Pissing off just about everyone and ready to throw down at a moments notice.

I imagine Kahlin being chill like 80% of the time despite her looking angry a majority of the time. But the other 20% she’s all squared up and ready to fight someone until they look at how tall she is.

I can just picture her yelling at someone like Shilen to fight her and he’s almost 8′0″ tall while she’s like 5′0″. He’s literally staring at her like “I’m twice your size you sure you want to go?”

Choose three characters. What are their favorite things to do when they have a day to themselves?

Lupina’s hive is in a cave with a series of short tunnels running through it. One of them leads to a underground spring, marked by glowing crystals lining the cave walls. When it gets cold or she just needs to relax she’ll go there and soak in the water for a bit, or relax in the cushions and furs she piled up there. She occasionally bring friends if they’re stressed out and need to relax too.

Kahlin likes to meditate in her herb garden. Since she doesn’t sleep often meditating is the next best thing. Combined with the smell of the herbs it’s enough to relax her to the point where she’ll feel like just woke up from a good days sleep. She tries to do this at least once a week.

Dretah would never admit it, but he likes to make intricate hand carved candles like this. He could easily spend all night working on candles. But he passes them off onto another troll to sell for him, usually Denzel or Shilen depending on the design.

Trolls getting ready for the 12th perigee ball

Lupina: Trying to find an excuse not to go. Or find someone she’s comfortable with coming with her since she’s uncomfortable in large crowds. Not to mention the dress Denzil made her is just so... formal. Though if she must go she wants to get in and out as soon as possible. 

Morego: Too busy baking things for the small party at Denzel’s shop, also helping him with final touches on dresses. However he’ll drop everything if one of his friends has an emergency. He’ll be happy once he can kick back and relax with friends.

Denzil: At his shop making as many suits and dresses as he can. Somehow he roped Morego and Kahlin into helping him but is also bribing Shilen to keep an eye on Lupina (aka make sure she doesn’t ruin her dress and goes to the party). But before the ball he’s having a small party at his shop to celebrate.

Shilen: Getting ready for the after party with his matesprit. A very bloody after party... and watching Lupina. Denzil offers very good bribes.

Kahlin: Helping at Denzel’s shop and snacking occasionally. She rather not go either but she may consider just to see who shows up.

the first thing Kahlin does when she wakes up a few days after being attacked is strip down to her underwear and go back to sleep

and if someone decided to come over to her hive she just wouldn't care and would walk around naked.
