Earlier this quarter we got a banging anthem titled Midnight, a testament to always be working on whatever you are passionate about from Brisbane based artist Kyle Palmer who releases under the avatar of Kai X. Now we have some thoughts on some of the tracks that made tsis year!
1. Lil Uzi Vert - XO Tour LIif3 This song is amazing, the vibe is great and its hard to dislike imo, i feel XO was the song that embodied why lil uzi got to where he is, if anyone doubted or wondered why uzi was so big, tour life brought a representation to just what he can do. 2. Travis Scott ft Playboy Carti - Green & Purple A bit of a low key La Flame song, not many people like it too much around me, but its one of my faves, i love the beat and the flow is unique and hype af.. also i love the astral/astroworld reference. 3. Migos - What The Price Straight up fire, how they introduce the song is amazing vocally regardless of the autotune, delay etc.. this song is very well done and i personally vibe to it 120% 4. Offset, 21 Savage & Metro Boomin - Ghostface Killers ft Travis Scott Offset showing us once again his unique lyrical delivery, metro on the beat and Travis on a feature, how can you not vibe to this. 5. Belly - Make a Toast Bars, bars bars. Lyrical Excellence, i know they're may be more lyrical artists but how he delivers his bars is amazing. 6. Logic - Anziety Shit gave me chills, epic vibe, real af.. and if you have experienced anxiety you can relate alot 7. XXXTENTACION - I Spoke To The Devil In Miami, He Said Everything Would Be Fine My favourite X song, hits me on a deep frequency, and i resonate in a strange dark way, i enjoy a song that can bring me in tune to these parts of myself. (i am a weirdo) 8. Kendrick Lamar - ELEMENT Yo its kendrick, hook is dope af and its just straight up a great song. 9. Trippie Redd - Love Scars First Trippie song i heard, probably like a lot of people, stood out straight away and its just an amazing song. 10. Joey Bada$$ - FOR MY PEOPLE Joey is one of my main influences and this song is one of the realest of the year, coming from an artist with huge influence and imo one of the future greats. 11. J.I.D - NEVER Lyrical Murder, First J.I.D joint i heard, its just an awesome song i had on repeat. 12. Drake - Can’t Have Everything Its Drake, he a goat. Cant have everything is my favourite on More Life
