Idea: after finding out about Kaito-is-Kid, Aoko starts getting gifted (by Kaito, of course) almost perfect replicas of some of the jewellery that Kid steals.
She'd worry about him getting caught (and isn't that a turnaround from before?) but he first pulled it by nabbing something post-heist as himself from her father, putting it up to Aoko, and saying in all seriousness "Hey, Aoko, wouldn't you say this suits you?"
After that he'd haggled with her dad and somehow (she has no idea how, really) her dad had agreed that since it really was just a fake, even if it was a well made fake, she could keep it after they'd processed it as evidence, as long as it was marked so no one could mistake it for the real thing again.
Apparently, this became a habit, because now she has several necklaces, two pairs of earrings, and five tiaras that are all completely fake but are also all utterly gorgeous.
She's starting to suspect that sometimes, Kaito targets things just so she can get a cheaper, not-stolen version of the same thing, and her dad won't wonder where it came from.
She should be more mad over this than she is, but... there is a certain something to being courted by Kaito, even if he does act like a magpie all the time.
