kaiji is shown to be impulsive and bad with money, but really focuses on stuff that’s interesting to him (gambling) - so, adhd
he’s also experienced a lot of trauma: high risk gambles (lots of times, its life or death situations); seeing a friend and acquaintance die in front of him; having 4 of his fingers cut off and reattached; being kidnapped; being tortured; and more, etc etc - so ptsd and cptsd. also he’s got general anxiety stuff too imo
he kinda thinks in “weird” ways and believes stuff is like, sometimes a sign from the heavens. (also there isnt like, canon evidence for this or whatever, but i feel like he’s kind of attached to all the scars he has bc they make him look unique [except for the 21 on his shoulder, mostly.], and he wears his hair in a mullet bc it makes him look a little more unique too.) basically im saying - schizotypal pd or the beginnings of schizophrenia

this episode of kaiji has just spent 5 minutes describing how boxes work and im really not even sure whats going on anymore
i want everyone to watch kaiji but i couldnt tell you why other than like waving my hands rapidly at those posts
like. it has no girls? its about gambling? it’s really rough at times... it isnt immediately aesthetically pleasing to 99% of people (although i super love the art and fkmt's comics are a big inspiration to me in an indirect way)........ its just. listen. its good (crying)
