sgHER.
YES, HER.
I remade another one of my older redesigns that I really loathed looking back on, that one being Biollante. (link to original redesign in case you really wanna see: https://cardbrobot.tumblr.com/image/661983793054384128 )
Size Stats
Height - 188 meters
Length (of vines) - Estimated 10k (Longest recorded vine stretch by Biollante.
Abilities:
Amphibious Nature - Due to having a large dose of Godzilla’s DNA; dubbed “G-Cells”, she possesses the aquatic nature of a Titanus Gojira specimen.
High Durability - Biollante is nigh indestructible, as she had taken hit after hit by Godzilla, and did not even appear to feel a thing, closer examination of vine tissue shows us that her bark is not like other plant bark, and is almost metallic in nature.
Regeneration - Biollante is capable of regenerating lost limbs at a rapid pace. She has even demonstrated recovering her head.
Spores - Biollante can utilize spores in many different ways. One of these ways is using it as a weapon. Biollante’s spores can cause great irritation in the body. Most notably the eyes, mouth and other areas. Most notably, she can become a cloud of spores to traverse the world in at a very high speed. This makes it exceedingly difficult to track her.
Corrosive Acid - Biollante has a highly radioactive corrosive acid constantly leaking from her body. Giving her body an extremely greasy and sticky look. This enhances her grabbing abilities with her tentacles. On top of this, she can also use this corrosive acid as a weapon, when she vomit shoots a wave of corrosive acid toward a foe, causing extreme corrosion in any material, and skin, flesh and other organs.. To the point of leaving bone exposed.
Brief History:
MONARCH had many DNA samples of many of the titans they researched. Ever since 2019, they have been using this DNA to make new titans of their own. The point of this was to test the limits and possibilities of bio-ingenuity. Most of their biological creations died fairly fast. This was because they were going too big with their biological monsters, aiming for the top way too fast.
It was eventually concluded that the proper starting point was to use the DNA of a rose-like titan found at the Hollow Earth, and combine it with the DNA of a Titanus Gojira. The project was a success, as they managed to successfully give life to a hybrid. However, it lacked any real sentience. MONARCH was puzzled on what to do.
Alan Jonah’s team caught wind of MONARCH’s doings, and saw this as the perfect opportunity to steal their knowledge on bio-engineering to accomplish their own scandalous needs. Several spies were sent to several MONARCH outposts around the globe to gather intelligence and infiltrate MONARCH’s defenses. The spies managed to accomplish their goals, and one of the spy groups came across the strange bio-floral creature. And decided to take it with them.
Alan was proud of his men, and they had gathered a good share of information, but Alan Jonah seemed the most interested in the rose-like hybrid that MONARCH made. And remarked that his late daughter loved roses. Alan Jonah and his team used the information that they found with MONARCH to DNA splice his daughter’s DNA with the hybrid, which. Surprisingly; accomplished what MONARCH was trying to do. Giving the plant sentience.
The TCTF helped MONARCH inflitrate Alan’s base and rid of them for good. However, the rose organism attacked and murdered almost all of the TCTF operatives who tried to attack the base. And after learning about it’s new-found free will, escaped off the base to find a proper area to grow.
The creature arrived at Lake Ashi, where the amount of life in the area managed to allow the creature to grow and mature. It made sounds that seemed like wailing and crying. Which drew Godzilla toward the area, believing it to be another member of his species. But worse yet, caused the awakening of Hedorah, the rose titan of which the creature’s DNA had seemed to be a preferred prey of Hedorah.
The creature, now dubbed Biollante had been attacked by Hedorah relentlessly at Lake Ashi, who managed to break through Biollante’s defenses in a way the TCTF hadn’t managed to. Hedorah was victorous, and forced Biollante to flee. Hedorah, however; was causing more destruction than Biollante had initially during his pursuit of her. And forced the TCTF to choose between the two threats. One was a huge threat, but the other threat had the potential of becoming much worse had they ignored it for extended periods of time.
Biollante made her return in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States. Her high floral capabilities was covering many parts of the region in many invasive plants. Which were carnivorous like venus fly traps. Attempts to stop Biollante by both the US Military and the TCTF were in vain, as she didn’t budge at all in her reign of destruction. Hedorah returned to battle her, but this time. The fight was dangerously in her favor. She severely weakened Hedorah, which forced him to fly off away.
Biollante revealed herself to Godzilla, and managed to cause brutal damage to him, most of his attacks being all-for-nothing against her. Godzilla eventually prevailed however; and pulled off fatal damage against the floral beast. Biollante dispersed into her spores after being incinerated by an enhanced atomic breath finish-off. Above the Earth, to where? It was unknown.
