When Kai is hanging with Grimlock would the Hot Rod and Autobots tease Kai saying "going out with your boyfriend"?
Oh yeah, there was always a lot of teasing 💀 Roddy treats teasing his little sister like a full time job, especially when it comes to Grimlock. There was always some teasing from the other Autobots too, but mostly they thought it was sweet and were impressed by Kai's brave choice of love interest 😅

Before disappearing how did Kai and Grimlock first met?
She didn't meet him till she was grown due to him and the Dynobots spending years off-world with the Vanguard or doing their own thing. She had heard many stories of Grimlock and the Dynobots, but first saw him when he finally returned to Cybertron and stepped off the shuttle.
Kai was infatuated with him, but he didn't pay her much attention at first, young and naive as she was. It wasn't until long after she had suffered Shockwave, gone away and been rebuilt and rehabilitated into the fierce warrior she is today that he fell deeply in love with her. Her bravery, loyalty and deep compassion moved him and he loved that she was as gentle as she was ferocious.
How would Grimlock react if Kai does a surprised kiss on him?
He wouldn't even flinch to be honest. For him it's like the most natural thing in the world, no one else would ever get so close to him. He always gives her a happy rumble and blushes a little under the mask though.. he's down catastrophic for her even if he isn't big on PDA 😌
