Lake Kaindy means “birch tree lake” and is 400 meter-long lake located in Kazakhstan, 130 km east of Almaty. Lake Kaindy is located in the south of Kazakhstan, within Kolsay Lakes Narional Park. The lake was formed as the result of earthquake forming a natural dam.
