My character has died and is now a Reaper. They must escort a certain number of souls over to the other side before they may rest in peace themselves. Send me a ✩ and my character will react to yours being the last soul they have to take.This wasn't possible out of all the people she could have ferried over into the next life it was her offspring? This wasn't right this wasn't okay at all. "What...this can not...no!" Ryu shouted obviously distressed at see her child for the first time since she died and became a reaper. Ryu held her mouth over her hand trying to stifle the choking sobs from being heard out loud whoever decided this would be okay was a sick sick bastard. Ryu rubbed her face and steeled her gaze she had to be strong for Kai that last thing she needed for her daughter to see was her so broken. "I'm sorry...it wasn't my intention to die first. I wish...so badly that I could have spared you the pain it was my fault." Ryu reached towards her daughter to stoke her cheek but the hand just passed through. Ryu redirected her sad eyes at the ground. "I hope you were able to live happily with your father...after I left. I'm sorry for leaving first...I didn't want to. I tried...so very hard." Ryu eyes glistened with fresh tears.Clearing her throat and wiping her eyes she faced forward towards the entrance. "Come...it's time to go.." Ryu almost wanted to reassure her daughter but knew deep in her heart they possibly would never be able to meet one another again to tell her otherwise would give her a sense of false hope and Ryu wasn't about to lie to her child.
