Hey guys, Sassy here! So this summer I’m needing to make a pretty big move. I’ve been looking to go to either Portland or Seattle for years now, and the time has come to make it into a reality. Even with working full time, schooling costs and other bills have made this quite a challenge, and as everyone knows a move across the country does not come cheap. (Hence me not being able to make many con events this year ;_;) So here I am, looking for some help. Any and every little bit is greatly appreciated, and will be contributing to making my dreams comes true.  Thanks everyone for all your support. =]

There is a new blog that is called snkgossip. I am not going to link it and before you try to go there please listen to this: I do not typically speak out against blogs because everyone has a right to do what they want. However, I highly recommend you outright blacklist/block this blog and don’t get involved.  It is a place for people to share their opinions on other people in the fandom, as well as their contributions (art, fics).  Though there are positive things there, it is also anonymous and has already begun posting some extreme and hurtful things about others.  Though I think most everyone is in agreement that this fandom has more than enough bs running around in it, this blog has the potential to not only seriously hurt a person’s self esteem, but also literally discourage a person from wanting to contribute anymore. And that is wrong.  You don’t have to like what some people do or say, but I think it is entirely unnecessary to trash talk people in such a public way under the shield of anonymity.  The moderator has insisted, despite protest to stop the blog, that if we want it to be positive we must simply submit positive things and therefore it relies on us. However, that is not stopping the negativity, obviously.  Do yourself a favor and SERIOUSLY block it, blacklist it, do not go there to see what people have said about you or people you know, and instead turn your attention to the snkpositivityproject which is /actually/ only positive.  I know some people have already made moves to report the blog.  I just don’t want to see anyone I know hurt because of this. That is all!

Hello followers. Once again, there have been financial troubles between myself and my roommate, and we could use a little help to pay off the last bit of our tuition (and register for next semester’s classes ;;;)

My roommate (whose family income is unfortunately above any financial aid bracket) was told by her mother that she would be assisting her with payments, and her mother has, last minute, pulled out. 

She now, jobless, has no way to pay the remaining portion ($1000) of her tuition. This could keep her from taking any classes at all next semester. 

We would also like to have a bit in savings to help assure that nothing like this happens again, while we work toward financial independence. 

Whatever you can contribute to help clear this, we would be very appreciative. Every bit helps.
