Title: The Ocean and the Rider
Kairi tightly held on to you, her arms still wrapped around your stomach from behind. Her face was pressed against your back, though she giggled as you gently spurred the horse on.
“Too fast?” You slowed your pace, also allowing the horse a break.
“No!” She cheerfully replied, now leaning her chin on your shoulder. “It was great!”
You smiled at her, tilting your head towards her. The silence filled the moment.
Only the sound of the sea next to you occupied the quietness. The heavy waves peacefully rolled onto the shore. To make the moment even more perfect, the light of dusk fell over your, warming your faces and illuminating them with a glow that nearly seemed out of this world.
“Are you having fun?” You asked to make sure, even if her big smile was telling enough.
“I am” She fondly squeezed your body. “It’s the perfect date”
You smiled, treasuring her presence as you continued riding.
