My keychains from CornMayor's shop arrived!!!

Not me finding out the "crappy sketchbook" that disintegrates with pencil is ACTUALLY meant for pens.

Seraphim turned out perfect, while the Trio are literally fuzzy from the paper coming apart.

Here's some pictures my friend took from the UT/DR meet up

So I've been begrudgingly working on the Caine and Bubble drawing, hating it the entire time but continuing because that's the way with art, and??????

Huhhhh???????? I didn't know I could do that??????? I haven't used colored pencils in forever?????????????????? I used a reference of course, but..... Idk. We'll see if it finish it

The Bitty Time Trio now have their own living space in my room!

I put up some shelves to put all my nics and nacs

(also, their chairs are those little things they put on pizzas)

Hello again!! I have come to humbly ask what you used to make the bitty time trios heads? And maybe a bit of the process on how u made them in general if it's no trouble! I'm going try a hand at different puppets similar to what you're doing!! I think... And yours are gorgeous so ofc I had to ask

Omg Hello!!!!! Of course I can help!! I haven't done much with the boys recently, but I can definitely give a rundown of how I made them. Their heads were a pain and time consuming, but honestly very fun.

(Also, yeeeeee DAWTDE is so peak I can't believe we're getting more lore!!!!)

1) Start with polymer clay ball in rough size of the head (I used white sculpey)

Start with tin foil for larger heads to save clay and weight

I used tin foil for Big Horror but not the Bitty Time Trio. I then removed the tin foil when carving the hole so Horrors head is hollow like an actual skull, but not needed for other characters

Big Horror's lower jaw is made of wire, foil, and clay foam because it's so thin and I was worried sculpey would crack from extended use

2) Bake the sphere!

3) Add basic details to sphere with more sculpey

For Sanses, head shape like jaw and eye sockets, cheek bones, nose, etc)

4) Bake again!! (Might burn slightly, but it should be fine)

5) Carve in details

I used a mini drill from Amazon (Hardell brand) to carve in the eye sockets, mouth and teeth, nose, and other shapes. I found it a lot easier than trying to sculpt the clay into the correct shape at that scale, even for Big Horror. I also used a pocket knife for very small details and shaving off small bits

If you use a Dremel make sure to wear a mask and have an area to catch all the dust. I was able to contain it to my desk and vacuum up the floor but I was COVERED. I used my old Papyrus scarf as a mask since I didn't have any actual masks lol

6) Repeat adding clay and baking if need be

Small details have a chance to burn and become a bit fragile, but most burning will mostly be cosmetic and easily covered by paint

Their bodies are made of pipe cleaners and bulky sections are clay foam painted white (except Big Horror, he's just made of pipe cleaners (and wire) with a polymer clay head). I just cut the fuzziness off with craft scissors for the Bitties, but keeping the fuzz in some parts helps the foam have something to grab onto

Their hands are actually directly based on yours, with wire covered in fabric! (I just glued it together). Murder is the most well put together, so he gets used as reference. As you can see, they are smol

Big Horror has a thicc piece of copper wire running down his spine and into his head, it's just wrapped in pipe cleaners. It's the same wire running through his skull to hold his jaw in place and allow it to move

Both Big and Small Horrors eyes are held in using friction so I can easily move it around, but that doesn't work for many other characters
