CBS Upfronts today. After Drew and “too female” and Ziva (too female?), this should be interesting. (Re: Drew, not that anyone asked, but I’m in the camp that it was code for “too diverse.” Given their Sunday night line-up this past season, Code Black, the pick-up of Doubt, and the fact that Supergirl actually skewed male in the key age demo and likely would’ve been renewed if it weren’t for the huge licensing fee and which studio owned it, I don’t think female was the problem.)
