Okay allow me to throw Tadashi in here too, because I can’t leave him out. This isn’t much but Adam getting swept up by the promise of Kojiro being good to him in the unfortunate case that he’d lose. But Tadashi absolutely not letting him take the fall

Maybe they don’t bet money, cause I imagine Adam’s family has enough to pay off any debt he might acquire. But Kojiro takes the hierarchy system into consideration and thinks Adam as his house pet would be good for his “robbing the rich” plan. But Tadashi is concerned about what this could lead to so he sets the rules vague enough to where he can jerk Adam safe

Ahhh Adam wanting to just be done with the pressure already and being at least sorta close enough to Kojiro that he is willing to lose if it means being rid of some of the pressure on him.

Adam (and definitely Kaoru too) being the wealthiest at the school so having him brought down would be a big win for Kojiro, but Tadashi is the one over seeing their match and he makes a slight change so when Kojiro does win (in this case at least lol) Tadashi ends up as a house pet instead through some changes in the paperwork.

This keeps Kaoru and Adam in their places (they definitely have mixed feelings about that 😒), and Adam is pissed. Kojiro is amused though and promises to take good care of Tadashi.

@writingbutneverfinished ‘s Kakegurui au is on my mind

MatchaGear/JoeReki Kakegurui!AU with Reki as the transfer student (Reki as a first year and Joe as a third maybe)

Reki gets his ass beat (game wise) by Shadow and ends up on the edge of debt. Joe befriends him and puts him at ease, until Reki asks him to help him get better (cause if someone below him manages to pay their debt he’s got no chance of coming back)

It all goes well until Reki challenges him to a real game, for the sake of it and to prove that he’s better. He asks Joe to not go easy on him, and it turns out that was a huge mistake. He loses the little he had left and turns out Joe doesn’t help him. “You have to learn to fend for yourself”, pats his head and leaves him in the dust

Shadowblosson with Shadow trying to take down Kaoru, but one of them is much better at cheating when they’re alone in a room. Shadow doesn’t lose all his money but tries to avoid gambling with Kaoru from then on. But Kaoru has a special way of provoking him and letting Shadow’s anger obscure his rationality

He bets sn insignificant amount of money, letting Shadow win the first time. He gains a little confidence, betting a big chunk of his money and then Kaoru strikes and wins

I didn't want to reblog the entire thing but @aavaros-sadism mentioned people thinking Kojiro is like normal and then being caught off guard, and I love that.

Also Kojiro and Kaoru still having some type of rivalry is amazing.

Imagine Hiromi or Oka meeting him and thinking he is friendly and they probably end up playing cards or maybe if it is against Hiromi then they bet on some sort of physical feat. But Kojiro is super talented at slowly trapping his opponents with a friendly smile until eventually the air is sinister and he is having people sign entire fortunes away. Apparently he came from one of the less wealthy families (if he had any wealth at all), so it makes people think he might be more empathetic, but he isn't. Kojiro gets a thrill out of robbing all these rich kids of their wealth until there is nothing left.

Sk8/Kakegurui crossover

I feel like that is enough said if I'm being totally honest, but... it centers around the adults (maybe aged down). Hiromi would probably be a decent main character (although if you have watched the anime you know that nobody give af about the main guy...)

Kaoru ensures he wins through cheating, although he is genuinely a good gambler... he just cares more about money then the thrill.

Ainosuke finds Kaoru boring because of his cheating, meanwhile he has a tendency to place bets that involve physical harm to the players.

Tadashi only bets if he can win (but he has been placed as an object in Ainosuke’s bets before).

Kojiro plays the part of someone who is naive but he is actually just as good at gambling as Kaoru or Ainosuke.

Oka manages to wiggle by because he is likeable and nobody wants to bankrupt him. He is a hard read, but he and Hiromi get along decently well.

And some of my silly ideas

1st year Pochi Gentaro was cruelly bullied, however, he left Pochi status by winning in Debt sorting assembly’s game. Now he is one of the cultural group member( in name) so no one would fuck so easily as the group president is the student council.

Dice’s tendency to bet everything usually put him in Pochi position, which is not bad cause he got the chance to challenge higher rank students. Because of his rapid switching status, now people are betting on the duration he will be “people”. The longest time so far is 2 1/2 wk

Hifumi is the No.1 Dealer everyone wants to get their hands on, however he’s scared of betting as his family was in big trouble from it. So everytime he was asked to be a dealer, he would have to wear the uniform. ( He’s not scare of woman as much as in Hypmic, except Chuuoku’s)
