My beautiful girl, the light of my days, my most precious Kalamata. Also she is dumb as a brick.

Here, see her sitting IN a pool of water on the shower stool that she had jumped up to drink, baffled by why her butt and feet were cold.

Then suddenly, she remembers from my laughter and camera raising that I exist, and she could just jump directly ONTO me and not have to step in the wet floor to get down.

The street art “Kalamata” in the city of Kalamata, Greece was voted the best in the world for November 2025 according to the website Street Art Cities . The art depicts a personification of the region of Kalamata as a woman with the face of  Greek soprano Maria Callas. Maria’s father was from a village in Messenia, which is the administrative region that has Kalamata as its major city. The details of her dress and the background pay tribute to the Messenian landscapes and the produce that Kalamata is famed for, especially its olives and its wines.
