a part of him knew that he was also under the influence. he had to remind himself that he wasn't of sound mind as he looked over at his best friend. there was something about tiana that he might not have noticed until that night, until the confession. it was making him all sorts of confused. his body also felt like it was on fire, which was why he was loosening up his tie as he looked over at her. "are you sure? i don't think you would have blurted that out if you remembered i walked down the aisle three hours ago." those three hours seemed to have been a lifetime already. "why couldn't you say any of that before? literally, even this morning could have been better. before i exchanged vows with another woman?" kaleb popped the top button off of his shirt and then moved down to the second. he needed to find more ways to breathe, apparently. "i never knew you felt that way. if i did, maybe ..." that would hav been selfish to say. "tiana, it's too late. you know i love you, i always will, but i'm married now."
