THE LOFT (2014)

Some men are sick f*cks. Clever movie. It sort of took a not so clever turn and it had maybe a few too many twists and turns but otherwise a good film. Glad it ended happy.

Some scummy hot dudes get a loft to share and fuck in (they fuck women, not each other). Things take a turn when a death or two happens there (shown in the very beginning).

One girl had killed herself there (which turned out to be a murder) and then the boy who loved her kills himself after realizing that she didn't die by his “gentle” hand, when his fucked up friend sliced her open he actually killed her. (Suicide warning if you choose to watch.) Come see Billy Butcher pre-Butcher!

📽️ The Object of My Affection (1998)

I watched this whole thing, but I honestly wasn’t a huge fan. It’s just sad. The whole premise is kind of messed up and unbelievable. Don’t believe that it’s a love story. I don’t have much to say about this one and I wouldn’t really recommend it.

Sex/nudity: 2/10 (implied sex between a gay couple, almost sex between a man and woman, kissing, talk of both hetero and homo relationships)

Language: 4/10 (more than one f-word but I don’t remember how many, other profanities as well)

Violence: 0/10 (I don’t remember any violence at all)

Overall rating: 3/10

Fool for Love aired for BTVS season 5, episode 7. This was the last BTVS appearance of Darla, who would continue to appear in multiple episodes of ATS. Darla is an independently wealthy woman (extremely wealthy) and is played by Julie Benz. She appears in five BTVS episodes, in S1, S2, and this episode in S5.

This was also the first appearance of Cecily Addams - shown in Victorian England - played by Kali Rocha. (Previous post on her last appearance.)

And last but not least, this was the first appearance of Nikki Wood. She is a slayer that Spike fights in the NYC subway. This is the only appearance of Nikki played by April Weeden, Nikki was later recast.
