Currently invested in Jade being a little freaked out by Kalim. Like Kalim thinks it’s a little funny so he leans into it and Jade is mostly just like “how is this a real person. I’ve met so many humans by now…why is this one…like this???”
Jade and Kalim are trying to out weird each other and Kalim is winning somehow.
But it’s never like shit that’s actually that odd but most slightly off putting and it adds up. Less off putting in an ominous way and more off putting in a silly way.
Jade: why yes it’s common in the coral sea for children to eat mildly poisonous plants for dares.
Kalim: woah how dangerous! I mean I used to consume deathly amounts of poison everyday but that was just for educational purposes

Jade wants this little specimen of a guy so bad. He wants him bro. I’m telling you. Like they are lowkey messing with each other and also one time Kalim slapped him when he was being really rude and it made his nose bleed and Jade thought about it for a month.
Listen man Kalim is not the free of sin here. He can tell he’s flustering Jade he just thinks it’s cute. Whenever he tells people about how nice and cute Jade is(he’s fucking with them a little bit) he enjoys watching peoples faces morph from distress.
