25 - favorite welfare

Flamebringer and Tequila; hard pick between those two. Flamebringer is one of my favorite operators but I like using Tequila way more. Gladiia and Ceylon are runnerups.

Doubles for favorite Reunion member. Faust is my favorite non-Lappland character. I'd include Fiammetta and Jaye here but I got both of them playable so no need.

The thud of the door closing behind them echoes the rhythm floating in their chest. Ribs hum along with a beat too loud, too incessant to ignore, though they still do their best to pretend.

Safe. They're still safe.

Oisein's hair drifts forward as they move, a lingering hand falling away from the cool metal doorknob while fingertips scrape against wood. The soft smile endures as well, the most genuine one they've had since arriving to Renescen, and whiskey tinges their sigh.

Following the other sheevra had been easy enough, but to see them face to face? To be able to stay without condemnation?

Smile shifts to victorious grin and the song that's hovering at the edge of their thoughts threatens to crescendo. Warmth that reaches and weaves through their veins and around their bones, gathering at the top of their spine and spreading to the soft skin behind their ears.

Here, away from the rest of the Clan, away from Saor, away from their world-

When all this was sorted...maybe then?

But the doubt rudely intrudes, as it always does. Throws open their mind and laughs, a reminder that hope could never be their harbor.

Safe.

For now.

Oisein's step halts for a moment before they press on, trying to leave the thought in the shadows of the inn's hall with their face settling into something more unsure.

More afraid.

Another voice, jeering, pitched, powerful, fills their mind.

"Don't be a fool," it scolds from the past. Jagged words carving at the sheevra's flesh, the tone tired, but unsurprised. "Return to the Sanctum. This is your last warning."

A wayward palm holds at their collar, hiding the freckles splashed on their skin. Fingers drop to the center of their chest, the quickening pulse in their fingers reaching for its origin.

"And if I don't?"

The marks don't show past the illusion hiding their shame, but Oisein can still feel the rough edges, tracing a path across every cruel stroke.

Surrender comes easier sometimes, a chill suppressing and stilling the blond's blood as they press closer to the wall, shirt fabric twisting in their grip.

I remember listening to your music for the first time 7ish years ago I believe. I would have been 16? A friend recommended it to me. Now here I sit here 7 years later. In what is surely a coincidence I believe im now the same age as you were back then, 23. It's partly why I'm writing this, the musings of someone who should be sleeping but instead is writing on his phone. I don't know how much of an impact your music and blog has on my life, I've certainty listened to it alot. It's interesting you know you have no idea who I am and have never met me and yet you've affected my life in some ways. And now im randomly through Tumblr sending you my thoughts as I lie awake. I wonder if I've ever affected others people who I've never known? Classmates? Strangers on busses? People who lurk in discord channels and read but never respond. It's a little crazy all the different ways we unintendedly interact with the world. I think thats enough 1am thought vomit from me though. I don't know what you'll think of this but it's been nice getting to see a fraction of who you are through your blog, tattoos, mannerisms, music. Which sounds stalker ish now that I say it. People are infinitely interesting but sleep I must.

As a human being lying awake at 1 am sleeplessly myself I quite enjoyed this message lol, and I feel very similarly. People and they way we all relate to and influence one another is so complex and interesting...

If you could have a real copy of anyone's weapon in arknights who's weapon would you want a copy of?

I dont... really think theres really any specific weapon that sticks out to me that much? like alot of them are either kinda standard weapons or very big and unwieldy haha

like plat just has a compound bow Mudrock has a sledge hammer with a hymn on it? and then theres Rosmontis.. or Blaze

I guess I would like maybe scavenger’s or grani’s ?
