Soooo I legitimately think I'm going to start using this more from now on b/c I've been going through this thing about just not knowing what social media to use but wanting to post my art and thoughts and stuff somewhere at least
It just seems like the following to me lately
- Twitter used to be fun but now it's a racist bot ridden hellhole
- Facebook is Facebook, I can't name a single person that uses it in this day and age
- the days of YouTube being able to be a viable option have come and gone and MrBeast hammered the final nail into that coffin
- Reddit is the most smug self satisfactory website I've ever had the misfortune of using
- Instagram and TikTok are massive time sinks and I just don't vibe with the user base of either
It just feels like there's like 5 or 6 sites that you're "allowed" to use on the modern Internet and it drives me insane. I don't get it. Then I come here and find it still has a relatively active user base still, so I figured I'll dust off the old Tumblr and give it a go :P
