-- “Is your shift more important than your life?” The physician asked as her brows furrowed while etching closer to the two. The nurse bowed politely to her before giving her the situation with him, “It’s alright, I’ll take care of this. Sit down.” Arilynn nodded towards the bed and pulled the curtains closed to give them a bit of privacy from the outside. “Before I begin, what is your name?” She asked and washed her hands at the nearby sink station before pulling on the white gloves.
The new voice addressing him makes anxiety tighten in his chest, and he looks up to see the less-than-enthused expression in a white medical coat. Ah, a doctor. Not a nurse. Right? Theodore obeys, and he slowly seats himself on the edge of the bed, lowering the bloodied rag to place it on the protective wax paper strip covering the bed itself. The fact he’s missing work at the moment and losing money is enough to make his stress run high, but there’s not much he can do. It’s not like he can make deliveries looking like this.
“My name is Theodore Park.” His voice is quiet and polite now that he’s tried to reason with himself a bit, his gaze lowering to the tile floor now.
