Man Koko did not expect he would be working as a security guard, but here he was working as one at the observatory. You see someone had broken into the observatory and Koko was basically filling in as a security officer until a proper one could be hired.

It was sure odd to be in this scenario, but then again, Koko was one of the best fighters in the region so he could subdue any trespassers easily. Not to mention, Koko thought he looked good in this uniform.

Anyway, the deity saw a young man had walked into the observatory. Was that the person that Sophocles told him to look for?

“Oh, are you the person who’s meeting up with Sophocles? Sorry, you just missed him. He had to run out to get something, but you can wait here until he comes back.”

@kaloskiddos for bonnie! Hau knelt down, picking up Hibi, his Alolan Raichu, out of the air and placing him right in front of him. Hibi didn’t seem to mind, and floated in the exact space Hau had placed him in, happily wiggling his little feet as he sat on his tail.  “I’m Hau! And this is Hibi! He’s been by my side for as long as I can remember, and he’s an Alolan Raichu!” He flashes a smile. “Electric and Psychic type!” “Now, pardon me for being so curious, but I was wondering about you and your Pokémon there...” He eyed the Dedenne curiously, yet respecfully. He’d never seen one in person before, only in pictures and on TV. “Might I register them in my Rotomdex?”

This had been the worst way to meet Volo’s little daughter. However, Ingo bowed slightly in greeting, blinking slowly, before he crouched down with minimal wincing (his back was his worst enemy), to get to the girl’s eye-level.

“Greetings, dear Bonnie. I am the warden Ingo. Pleased to properly meet you. My apologies for the unpleasant topic you have come across. You can be at ease, as it was merely misunderstanding between me and and your father, Volo.”

The girl looked like she could be actually related to the merchant. Hmm... Well, it would not matter, as the real family rarely came from blood.

She moved her hands over her face and calmed down. It was only a Joltik. It was only a Joltik in his hair.

Karen assured as he inspected her device. The pokegear looked like some sort of franken device what with how many other parts from other regions devices were mangled into it. How it functioned was a valid question though the last thing she wanted was for him to dig into the information so she kept it on her person.

             head   is   hung   as   purple   clad   teen   walks   on,   eyes   glued   to   the   screen   on   her   phone.   it’s   only   when   a   stranger   speaks   up   that   she   is   snapped   out   of   her   trance,   glancing   up   at   them.

 ❝         i’m   tracking   a   noibat   !      it   got   separated   from   its   natural   habitat   one   region   over,   and   i   really,   really,   REALLY,   really   want   to   catch   it   !!      they’re   super   shy   and   cute   and   it   fits   my   aesthetic   way   too   perfectly,   and   also   it’s   a   flying   type   pokemon   so   that’s   super   cool,   and   did   you   know   they   can   pick   out   which   fruit   is   the   ripest   ?      i’ll   never   have   to   blindly   shop   in   the   fruit   section   again   !!      oh,   and   check   this   out   !         ❞
