I’ve never had a pinned post before so you’ll have to forgive me if I do this wrong.

I’m DEE. I’m 30+ years old. If that’s a problem then you don’t follow me. Simple as that. I’m active mostly at the weekends because I work during the week. I work with children so that can be rather stressful at times and wears me on weekdays. I’ve been roleplaying for nearly 15+ years now. I’ve been roleplaying on most platforms. Bebo, Msn Messenger, Skype, Proboards, Tumblr, you name it - I’ve probably tried it. I’ve dabbled in many fandoms but none ever seem to really be ‘right’ for me. That’s why I tend to take the muses I write and just play with AUs. I’ll do my best to reply when I can but my mental health can sometimes make it hard. So there may be - sometimes even - months between replies. I don’t mind being pestered but I can’t promise shit. I have a life outside of roleplaying. Roleplaying is but a hobby. My work, my art, and ultimately my boyfriend take up more of my time than roleplaying.

My current active muses at the moment come from the Dead by Daylight fandom, Pokemon fandom and the Tokyo Ghoul fandom. Feel free to send me memes/random asks or starters for those muses right now. Anything else I probably will ignore. It’s nothing against you. That’s just where my current interest is at.

I need to clarify something. I was unaware about everything in relation to Preston. I quit nationalicondex through the fact that I needed to pull back on Tumblr and start-a-new with this blog. I left as an admin on all of my blogs that ever were connected with the icon blog. I had also blocked Preston because I was uncomfortable around him after some ‘advice’ he gave me in my relationship. I just found out about the callout in relation to Preston. I decided to deactivate all the links to my icons because I didn’t want to be associated anymore. Then I saw that he has blocked the icon blog with a password. This was not something I was aware would happen. It is not anything in relation to me. I apologise now if you are unable to use the icons or the blog I spent YEARS building up and working on. That blog was my BABY and meant the world to me. I was so proud of it. I’m actually rather upset. Long story short: don’t associate NID with anything that Preston has done. I was the original owner and I was not aware of it. The blog was made with the purest of intentions and just to help the Pokemon community.

Hello National Icon Dex family. Officer Jenny here on the day of her retirement. I, Dee, have decided to step back a little from Tumblr. This is for my own personal health and for reasons I will not go into as they are not important to you. However, I am still feeling rather emotional. I have been here from the earliest days of NID. From post one to follower one. I am leaving Nurse Joy with a following of over 600 on both post and follower. It has been a pleasure to provide you all with icons. To be where you go to get all of your iconing needs in this fandom. I have enjoyed seeing my icons on the dash and should I return to Tumblr I will continue to do so. I have been Rotom Mod and Jenny Mod. Both have been constant parts of this blog. From the dex that holds the icons and the officer that makes sure the rules are followed. Thanks for the couple of years that this blog blossomed. Hopefully the blog will continue to flourish and you will continue to find your needs met. Dee out. x

I’m just going to say. I’ve turned anon off. I’m not here for this noise. Leaving tumblr was to save my relationship.

If there was any jealously or actually - anything to do with my relationship - it was between Ren and I.

It’s nothing to do with you. All I want is to make Ren happy - how dare you for coming along and kicking me when I’m down.

It took three weeks for Ren and I to be together before ship partners and friends to begin meddling in our relationship and trying to break us up.

I’ve watched people come along and hurt him. I’ve dealt with being complained at because I came along and stopped him writing with people as much.

I’ve watched people ship with him and eventually ruin fandoms for him that we shipped in when they leave.

And now it’s gotten to the point we can’t go a day without fighting over this.

So I give up.

Tumblr wins.

I gave myself the task of drafting five asks from my inbox and got them all prepared with banners/icons for writing up replies when in the office at work. I wanted to keep my productivity going - even if my writing muse isn’t there - so i can slowly build it back up. I’m proud of myself to be able to say I completed the task and got them done.

Kagura was surprised to hear that Muji had wanted to learn more about her family. The Sohma Estate was as well-known as it was an enigma. After all given the curse they didn’t fair well to outsiders. If they knew that Kagura had brought someone here then she would most likely get in trouble with Akito. When she had driven Muji here after he had gotten injured she really hadn’t been thinking about the head of the family. Her attention and all of her thoughts had been on Muji.

But now that she had a clear mind - she was worried about the gossip. About Akito finding out. What if Akito hurt her for getting close to someone that wasn’t her? What if Akito attacked her like she had attacked Isuzu… Isuzu was after all in that relationship with Hatsuharu at the time and Akito felt his zodiac were her property. What if she attacked Muji for his interest in her? All the more she had brought an outsider into the estate! All the fretting and anxiety went out of the window the  minute that Muji’s arm wrapped around her shoulder. She felt the coolness of the leather brush against her cheek as she tilted her head to look up at him. The cold of his jacket was offset with the warmth of the snake man’s lips to her forehead. She blushed as she pressed herself a little closer, her shoulder finding its home under his shoulder, her arm wrapping around his back. “Are you sure you’re ready. Gotta be pretty scary huh? Meeting the family.” Well, in Kagura’s case - as always - her father was never around. So it would be just meeting her mother. Well, Isuzu too possibly, if she was actually going to come out of her bedroom for once.

A lot of experience with… hmm. Sonia moved her hand to rub her chin. She did like the fact that Ash felt he could come to her but she wasn’t sure if she was really the right person for the job. After all, she complained non-stop about Leon’s outfits. She always said he was a walking disaster and needed to be taken by the fashion police.

“Uh, I think that he gets his clothes from Hammerlocke. The boutique there. I always told him that the clothes there didn’t really suit his style… but he never listens.” Was Ash looking to imitate Leon’s dress sense now too and wear the same kind of brands? The poor boy!

It was getting colder now. The time for Winter would soon be upon them and Oboro didn’t know what he liked the idea of more. The Halloween period or the Christmas period with his new boyfriend. He really wanted to get to know what holidays would be like with Kanta. He had never had a boyfriend before nor had he ever had the chance to spend holidays with anyone but his parents. This would be a new experience for sure.

He blushed as he moved his and and ruffled his fingers through his hair. He didn’t know how to say this without coming across like a total cheese ball. His cheeks were heating up considerably as he eyed Kanta - trying to get his attention (without realising that Kanta near always had his eyes on his boyfriend whenever he was around.) “So, for Halloween…” Wait, were they a little too old for this? Nah, in  fact he was more excited at the prospect. Who knew what it would be like to revisit youthful experiences. “Wanna match costumes?”

Huh. Interesting thought. Would she smash or pass Raihan?  She had never considered him as a possible bed mate until this moment. Why would she he wasn’t her rival or anything - he had actually replaced her as Leon’s rival.

That didn’t stop the fact that Raihan was a celebrity - hot to boot - and had even flirted with her a couple of times in the past. Probably to big up his own ego. “Smash, but I don’t think I’d date him.” He seemed to love himself a little too much for Sonia to envision a happy relationship where she would get all the attention she needed. But, who knows. She didn’t know Raihan well enough beyond what he was like to the media.

Kagura took the moment to look down at what she was currently wearing. It was a basic t-shirt that she found lying discarded on her BATHROOM floor. With it being there she just figured it was hers.  Although upon further inspection she did realise that this shirt was in fact not hers. So just why was Alex’s shirt on her bathroom floor?  She sighed, pulling the shirt casually over her head, revealing that she was wearing a bra underneath but not even caring to strip in front of Alex. The boar of the zodiac threw the crumpled shirt at Alex’s face and rolled her eyes with a teasing smile. “Just make yourself at home, why don’t you?”

“Pretty sure I wasn’t complaining about her being here.” She’s worked in worse situations. Like being limited to bedrest with one of four dragons shrunk down to the size of a large house cat who also insisted on snuggling up to her to help her fight back a fever. Basically them being her own personal hot water bottles. 

When Kagura sat down on the sofa, Alex immediately stretched out and placed her feet in her friend’s lap. Minor pay back. Putting her sketchbook aside, she absent mindedly stroked Koko as she watched Kagura. She knew better than to fall for Kagura’s coy remark. She wasn’t going say anything but she did have eyes and ears. So instead she just went along with the change of subject. Well, somewhat. “He left a game console…At your apartment…And you’re not together?” It sounded like something a couple would do to her. “What games does he have? Gaming is more of Ethan’s thing but I have played a few games with him.”

“What?? Momiji?” Kagura snorted as she moved her hand and waved it dismissively. “-Miji’s my cousin.” She had a lot of cousins... even if they weren’t all closely related. In fact beyond her mother and father Kagura wasn’t sure if she had any close relatives in the Sohma family.

“He likes a lot of different stuff.” She pulled out the console of Nintendo games and showed them to Alex. “I haven’t looked at it myself but he even made me a profile on it so I could play.“ Kagura hadn’t played any games since Animal Crossing and Pokemon from all those years ago. There were so many generations of Pokemon for her to catch up on. “Think there’s some Mario there. Sonic too.”

Once more she stopped what she was doing to give her friend an innocent look. Of course she knew she was taking advantage of her magic. Wasn’t that suppose to be part of having magic powers anyway? All the same, she sighed as she rolled her eyes. “You know I would have just left and come back later.” Most likely she would actually tell Kagura she was coming over that time though. Alex had a feeling if she didn’t then she would never get her friend to spill any details about the guy she was with. 

Not at all bothered by the cat jumping into her lap, Alex just repositioned her sketchbook for the cat. “Mostly the former,” she answered with a shrug. She was really waiting on some sort of mission from Shida and had yet to hear anything about it. Therefore she had some time to kill and didn’t wish to do it alone. “Wanna do something or are you waiting for a guy to show up?”

“She likes the heat.” Kagura pointed out. Her finger nudging towards the kitten. Koko was purring as she nudged her hand and batted at the utensil Alex was using for her art. “From the paper.” After discussing the rest of her stuff and abandoning the large thick jumper that she was wearing, Kagura joined the two on the sofa.

“What guy? I wish.” Kagura played coy. She knew that Alex was aware of the fact that someone had taken Kagura’s fancy - but she wasn’t prepared to go too into the details yet. She was far too used to people dismissing her ideals in relationships. “We can watch something if you want? Play a game. Don’t know if I have anything worth it - but Momiji-san left a console and some games here. There might be something that interests you.”
