Avie’s laugh came shrill and happy as long fingers curled around her sides, tickling even as arms wrapped around her middle and pulled her tight against his chest. “Stoooop, Kal- please!” She wheezed, both trying to get away from his torture and letting him hold her close.
“Hmm, if my Lady insists,” Kalyanar purred into her ear, peppering her cheek and jaw with kisses as he propped himself up on an elbow to look down upon her.
“She does insist, thank you,” Avie replied as she wriggled further under the sheets, cheeks aflame with adoration and affection and green eyes blinking up at him.
“Kal! Are you up there?”
The pair started and looked at each other, eyes gone wide. For a split second they did nothing before they sprang into frantic movement; it would be precious minutes before they were caught.
“J-Just a minute, Lori!” Kalyanar called back as Avie practically barrelled out of their shared bed, snatching up whatever clothes came first to hand.
“I thought you said he was out today?!” She hissed, though she could feel giggles at the absurdity of it all rising. Kalyanar just looked at her, throwing her shirt at her as he awkwardly yanked on his pants.
“He was supposed to be!” The warlock yelped, suddenly lowering his voice as he heard the creak on the stairs. Avie quickly assessed her options; window? No, too high. Get caught? Not an option. Her eyes turned to the wardrobe. It would have to do. Grabbing up her shoes she all but vaulted over the bed, stole a risky kiss from her lovers lips and stuffed herself into the small space, stifling her ridiculous giggles.
“Avie what are you do— Loooorrrii, hi.” Kalyanar said, awkwardly leaning back against the doors of the wardrobe.
“I just finished my shift, I wondered if you wanted dinner?” Iiloridan paused as if something was slowly dawning on him. Kalyanar smiled and interjected before his cousin had time to piece together the evidence laying around the room.
“Actually, yes.”
“Yes?” Iiloridan wheeled his attention back around to Kalyanar, brow raised in surprise.
“Yeah, I..haven’t eaten,” that much at least was true. “Oh. Avie stopped by to see you, I let her through the wards. I think she’s still around, said something about having some gossip?”
Iiloridan narrowed his eyes a little at that, “She didn’t say she was coming? She knows I had a shift today,” the priest frowned as Kalyanar grabbed a shirt, tugging it over his head and slyly kicking Avie’s bra under his bed. It was Iiloridan’s own handiwork, he’d surely recognise it. Before Lori could ask any more questions, Kalyanar ushered him back downstairs.
Inside the wardrobe, Avie leant her head back and breathed a sigh of relief. Then she frowned. How was she supposed to magically appear elsewhere? Below her she could hear them pottering about, Kalyanar making excuses, Iiloridan muttering something about one of his patients. She didn’t dare come out until she heard him say he was going to look for her. Avie groaned, even as she stepped from her hiding place. A quick glance told her she wasn’t going to find her missing clothes in time, so she stole a pair of Kalyanar’s socks and haphazardly pulled them on as she ran downstairs. She just barely had time to sit down and look pretty as the door opened.
“Hello, Lori.”
