Considering they're both completely different characters made for completely different ends, it's really unfair to compare Takeru with Gou of all people. If you want to make comparisons, then you have to include Banana Edgelord, who took quite literally the entirety of Gaim to even consider his whole way about the world was wrong, and even then he only admitted that Kouta's way was another possibility, never really assuming his was wrong.
i only heard about the post secondhand but yeah. i imagine the point of comparison was takeru’s actions in this episode, alienating his friends and condemning Alain just because he was a Ganma.
The difference of course is that Takeru had previously bent over fucking backwards to save a Ganma’s life and befriend it, and his actions in this episode were a result of a complete fucking breakdown resulting from the horrifying stuff he saw in the Ganma World.
While Gou can arguably have had a legitimate reason at first to despise Roidmudes, his hatred was irrational, misplaced, and caused trouble for everyone. His unwillingness to consider Chase an ally made things harder than they had to be and completely alienated him from everyone else. And that’s not even getting into the rest of his issues. But the thing is that his problems were apparent as soon as Chase joined the team, and he violently refused to listen to anyone else on the matter.
Christ at least in Takeru’s case, Alain was a legitimate enemy up acting of his own free will until this point, whereas Gou really has no excuse to mistrust Chase since it was made extremely clear that Chase was brainwashed the entire fucking time.
