ANDREA DROPS A COVER ON YOUTUBE !

andrea matthews, who started out her career on youtube, went back to her roots by posting this cover of leona lewis’ song bleeding love. she started out saying that this song meant a lot to her, especially recently. the song is about finding love after being hurt. this could possibly be a reference to her breakup years ago.  but does that mean she’s finally moving on ? and who is she moving on with ? we’ve seen her hanging out with kamia locc recently who it was rumored wrote a song for andrea. could that be who andrea is crooning about in this beautiful cover ?

Just a couple of days ago, ‘Yellow Paint’ singer Kailani teased what appears to be promotion for a new single. While there is no hard evidence that the song would be a collaboration, viral gossip sources have seen R&B singer NXA and Kailani getting friendly at an AMAs after-party. Rumors have circulated that the two have spent some time in the studio together, but neither artist has confirmed that a collab was in the works. 

Earlier today, NXA posted to her Instagram account a picture where she appears topless and covered by long strawberry blonde tresses. The post immediately grabbed the attention of her NXAnavy, as well as the fan group of rivaling artist Kamia Locc. One commenter ‘dragged’ the young singer for partaking in ‘another collab’, and insisting that Kamia ‘really got robbed [of an AMA]’. 

Drama aside, is this model-esque photo alluding to the strawberry in Kailani’s post?? We’re aware, it’s kind of a reach... but until it’s confirmed we’ll just have to sit here with our fingers crossed that Kailani and NXA have something coming our way.

andrea could still taste the ice cream that she & kamia had shared recently. it tasted like sweetness, cookie dough & a little bit like home. she hadn’t been able to stop thinking about that night, about how kind kamia had been to her when she was falling apart. when andrea heard the song twenty-four seven, she had a feeling it was for her. just a gut feeling. when she read kamia’s blog post, that confirmed it. she decided to thank kamia for writing such a beautiful song by buying her cupcakes & wine to bring over to her house. she was a little nervous, if she were being honest. like butterflies in her stomach. she knocked on the door of the singer’s house and waited for her to answer the door as she tried to calm down the butterflies.

R&B / neosoul newcomer NXA took home an American Music Award for best r&b/soul song with her track ‘Julia’ from her career-launching extended play ‘UR’. this was the songstress’ only nomination for the evening, and the #NXAnavy clearly showed their support for their fave and voted the singer to a win. during her acceptance, NXA thanked her fans, and even had a message for her fellow nominee Kamia Locc.

“wow, thank you guys so much. I used to dream about moments like this, and being here is surreal. To my fans, thank you for your support and I hope I can always make you proud. And Kamia, girl, the competition is tough and ‘Honey’ is so well-written; i’m shook that i’m up here and not you. they’re giving me the signal to get the f*ck off the stage so i guess i’ll roll out. thanks again, this award is for you all.”

it seems there is no actual bad blood between the two young singers, but twitter stans have other ideas. let us know are you #teamNXA or #teamKamia ??
