the fact of the matter was that it was used solo missions such as recon-- but recruitment? that was another matter entirely. though, the apathy that courses through it’s veins numbs it to the idea that it was, just maybe, not up to the task-- but those ruddy; weary hues don’t register as hand comes up; a singular digit coming up to stop the woman before it.

          ` kamihate? same hat-- magpie didn’t come with, just the crow; tick tick tick! the birds need help from the panther. help? aid? don’t have cash-- street favors are on the table. `

               Jin worked part time at the small shop, despite the fact that he didn’t really need to considering his father was wealthy, but he liked it. It sold mostly little knick-knacks, and on occasion, he found something interesting that he’d purchase and keep for himself.

        He had seen the woman wandering a bit. He figured it was good to ask if she was looking for something in particular, even if she wasn’t, at least he had made an effort. 

                  “Hey, are you looking for something in particular, or are                    you okay?”
